Five people were injured in a motor vehicle crash on Highway 4 near Coombs on June 22.
BC Emergency Health Services responded to the incident shortly after noon, with six ground ambulances, including a critical care paramedic team, as well as an air ambulance, according to Paramedic Public Information Officer Brian Twaites.
"Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to five patients who were transported to hospital in stable condition by ground ambulance,” Twaites told the PQB News.
A section of the highway near Pratt Road was closed for several hours for a police investigation, according to Cpl. Brett Urano with RCMP E Division.
DriveBC reported that the highway reopened at 5:15 p.m.
