A small number of residents attended the Community Round Table on March 16 at the 70 Mile Community Hall.
Most of the discussion concerned the condition of the roads in the area. If you were not able to attend, but wish to express your concerns, call Sally Watson at 250-456-2423.
SMAC meeting
The Seventy Mile Access Centre (SMAC) society will hold its general meeting April 13 at 10 a.m. at the centre.
AGM slated
The SMAC society will hold its annual general meeting April 23 at the centre.
There will be an election of officers for 2011/12. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Bookmobile coming
The Thompson Nicola bookmobile will be in the area on March 31.
It will be at the South Green Lake fire hall from 10 to 11 a.m., and at the 70 Mile General Store from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will be a temporary vehicle as the regular vehicle will be receiving some maintenance work.
