I am responding to reports in the Free Press about Donna Barnett stating she would cross the floor and sit as an Independent if the referendum showed the people wanted the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) scrapped and the government didn’t repeal the act.

Does she mean the people of British Columbia and the referendum as it is legislated?
Does she mean the people of B.C.
