Dear Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Cowichan-Malahat-Langford MP Jeff Kibble:
Many Canadians are disappointed and confused about why our federal government is not releasing a 2025 federal budget.
We urge PM Mark Carney to issue our budget forthwith.
We also expect our newly elected Cowichan-Malahat-Langford MP Jeff Kibble and his Tory party to demand, in Parliament, issuing of a 2025 budget so Canadians can see how our feds are spending our hard-earned tax dollars.
Reminder: our federal government and all members of Parliament work for all Canadian citizens.
We also agree with the Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation’s current demand for Parliament to publish a budget this year — and every year.
