It was a beautiful sunny day for the second Annual Watch Lake Community Family Day Party held on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Moose Point Drive Access #1. Approximately 60 to 80 people attended. There was a huge ice rink, created by Doug Compton and his crew, in which people were able to curl, ice skate, as well as, play hockey and a fire pit with log benches around it to keep everyone warm.
Chilli, hot dogs and snacks were available for anyone that was hungry. A BIG THANK YOU to Doug and Laurie Compton for arranging this wonderful event and everyone who helped out to make this a great success.
