The 100 Mile House & District Soccer Association (OMHSA) will be receiving a $5,000 grant from the Hosting BC program for its upcoming BC Soccer U13 and U15 Boys and Girls Youth Provincial B Cup Finals.
Hosting BC is a provincial government initiative to build the province’s reputation as a premier event hosting destination, providing grants to organizations throughout British Columbia. Since 2004, Hosting BC has invested more than $2.6 million in 34 communities to host 188 events.
“Sporting events are great for families and this event will allow us to show the friendliness and the hospitality of 100 Mile House,” says Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett.
The championship tournament takes place from July 7-10 at the OMHSA Soccer Park.
