34 Years Ago (1984): Over three hundred people were expected to attend at the opening of the renovated 100 Mile House Community Hall. The total cost of the new look and the installation of a mini-park around it was estimated at $322,000. Community Club member Tim Wood compared the old hall to a “third-rate school gym,” adding that people would be delighted with how beautiful it now is inside.
