Traffic is backed up on Highway 4 near Pratt Road after a motor vehicle collision Sunday afternoon (June 22).
There is single-lane alternating traffic along the route while the police investigation is concluded, according to Cpl. Brett Urano with RCMP E Division.
"We request that the public follow the instructions of traffic control and thank them for their patience. The police investigation is on going and please contact the Oceanside RCMP if you have any information regarding the incident," Urano said in a statement to the PQB News.
Urano did not have information regarding possible injuries.
DriveBC is advising drivers to watch for traffic control.
A detour in place for eastbound traffic at Hilliers Road South. Westbound traffic must detour from Pratt Road to Van Horne Road and back to Highway 4.
