Gas prices in Williams Lake not cheapest in Cariboo

It should be cheaper in Williams Lake, said Gil Bremner

A Williams Lake resident is asking why gasoline prices are higher in his community than in 100 Mile House.

Gil Bremner said he was in 100 Mile House Wednesday, July 24, for a meeting and regular gas was $1.69.9 a litre, down from prices in Williams Lake.

On Friday, July 26, at least one station in Williams Lake listed regular gas for $1.74.9 a litre and in 100 Mile House it was still $1.69.9 a litre.

"We should always be 12 to 13 cents cheaper," Bremner said.
