27 hectare fire burns north of Clearwater

Another wildfire has sparked north of Clearwater, this time in the Archer Creek area. 

The blaze is an estimated 27 hectares in size and was discovered just after 10 p.m. on July 17. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. There are currently no evacuation orders or alerts associated with this incident. 

BC Wildfire has deployed personnel to the area. 

The other fire located in the same are is the Battle Mountain blaze which was first discovered on July 17 and is burning out-of-control. 

At an estimated .009 hectares in size, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
