Watercolour artist Sharon Isaaks loves painting and teaching.

Sharon Issaks has been painting in watercolour since 1988, and started teaching watercolour classes in Pitt Meadows in 1998.

Retired from her day job, she made a promise to herself that she would become a full-time artist.

With her love of painting and teaching, she opened up "True Colors Art Studio" on Merkley Crescent, in the upper Ranchettes, at the west end of Horse Lake.

Sharon loves to teach new beginners by showing them how to choose the correct supplies, and new watercolour techniques.  Sharon shows each student how to express him or herself, by developing skills and creating their own style. It’s a great experience for both the student and the teacher.

She shows each student step-by-step demonstrations, breaking down painting strategies into simple principles. Sharon likes to put fun into the process of painting along with eagerness and new techniques in an atmosphere that makes the students feel comfortable.

With a small studio, the number of students is limited. Classes are held in the fall and spring, and registering early confirms you a spot in class.
