This weekend, the annual Mexicano Festival will be returning for its 19th iteration with two days of live music, delicious foods and Mexican culture.
On July 12 and 13, the festival – hosted by the Mexican Canadian Community Association of Victoria – will be held at Ship Point in the Inner Harbour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
According to the association's website, the free event will offer food, live music – featuring Vancouver Island's first mariachi band Mariachi Sin Frontera – dance and food, as well as children’s games, face-painting and more.
