The fire in the log yard at Pioneer Log Homes near Williams Lake is being held.

Multiple fire crews are on scene at the Pioneer Log Homes of B.C. compound near Williams Lake Monday, May 5.
Log decks are on fire on the west side of the property, the main log home building site for the company, which was featured in the Timber Kings reality television show.
Partially constructed homes and the construction crane have so far not been impacted by the blaze.
Traffic is still moving on Highway 97 and RCMP and Dawson Road Services are on scene directing traffic. Southbound traffic is reduced to one lane alongside the fire as firefighters work to douse the log decks.
150 Mile Volunteer Fire Department is leading the response, with Wildwood Fire Department, Williams Lake Fire Department and Miocene Volunteer Fire Department providing support as well.
A prescribed burn took place near the compound last week, but firefighters have not yet provided information on the cause of the fire.
