The Alberni Valley Fibre Guild recently held a two-day hands-on workshop in weaving at the Grove Art Gallery.
Atticus Dorst age 13, had seen weavers at a market last year. When the opportunity came up to join the workshop, he and his mother, Char, decided to give it a try. Both enjoyed their day of weaving.
Others that attended were pleased with the assistance and knowledge about weaving. Each attendee made their own unique creation.
Leo King, a member of the guild, was on site spinning, which added another facet to the workshop.
