The Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce will host an all-candidates meet and greet on Wednesday, April 16.

Local residents will have an opportunity to meet the candidates and ask them questions.

The event goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tourism Discovery Centre at Broadway Avenue 1660 Broadway Ave. South.

"We do not have time to host an all candidates forum, but as the chamber we felt we needed to do something for the candidates," said chamber president Paul French. "We are offering a place so the public can come and hear what each of them have to say and talk to them directly."

Seven candidates are running in the Cariboo Prince George Riding.

Angie Bonazzo, New Democratic Party

Jodie Capling, Green Party of Canada

Todd Doherty, Conservative Party of Canada

Clinton Emslie, Liberal Party of Canada

Rudy Sans, People’s Party of Canada

Kenneth B. Thomson, Independent

Jake Weins, Christian Heritage Party

simplymastery will be publishing a question and answer section with all of the candidates who choose to respond in this week's editions and on the website at www.wltribune.com.
