Raven Youth Centre hosts annual Art Show

This year's art show was built around the theme Stop Racism

On Thursday, June 19, the Raven Youth Centre hosted its annual Art Show.

For two hours, members of the community came into the centre to view art created by 20 different youth artists of various ages. This year's show was themed around 'Stop Racism' and featured a wide range of paintings and drawings connected to this theme.

Those who attended were encouraged to leave sticky notes with encouraging messages for the children, with the art receiving the most comments netting its artist one of three prizes. The Raven Youth Centre will be open from 2 to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday, during the summer months.
