This is the only Earth we have, and each of us has a responsibility to keep it clean.
I remember when my daughter talked about her roommates saying “if they would just pick up after themselves” then laughing when she realized it was the same thing I said when she was living at home.
I suppose there is a certain immaturity to not picking up after ourselves.

Earth Day to cleaning the walkways of 100 Mile.
I’ve thought about picking up the garbage along the highway around my place; that’s all I’ve done so far is think about it.
