It will be a full house at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre on April 29-May 1 with the 2011 South Cariboo Mega Show.
“Get inspired - at home or at play” is the slogan for this year’s show, which combines home improvement, home-based businesses and outdoor RVs and sports equipment, to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Mega Show will be open Friday (April 29) 5-9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m., with the food concession in operation for meals, snacks, drinks and popcorn can be found at the Kettle Korn booth.
A great selection of vendors will be there with booths and displays for their various products and services relating to everything you need for your home renovations, home furnishings, yard, garden, recreation, outdoor living, recreational vehicles and a lot more.
The Emergency Social Services group, which helps at evacuation centres during natural disasters, will have a booth and members are available to answer questions.
The Home-Based Business area in the arena will feature products ranging from jewelry to health products and photography and just about everything in between.
Various booths and the Mega show organizers will have draws for people to enter throughout the weekend.
Canlan Ice Sports will also have a large booth displaying information on all of the upcoming summer programs for children, both Canlan’s and the community programs.
Admission to the show is through a donation to KidSport an organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to youths aged 18 and under.
“We’re looking forward to seeing everyone come out and support these local businesses,” says Bev Lund, organizer of the show. “We think it’s really going to be a great show.”
