The BC Northern Real Estate Board (BCNRBE) has elected Victor Khong as board chair for the 2025-2026 term.
Khong, who has been a licensed realtor since 2014 and is the co-owner of Horsefly Realty, was voted into the position at the board’s AGM on April 4.
“I look forward to serving our membership who are committed to real estate excellence in northern British Columbia. Our collective goal is to have trusted real estate professionals in every community,” Khong said in the board’s press release.
Khong was a director on the board in 2023 and vice chair in 2024. He has been involved with several committees including the Provincial, Federal, and Municipal Government Liaison committees, the Audit Committee, the Finance Committee and the Technology Committee. Khong has also been involved with the Horsefly volunteer fire department’s board of directors.
Joining Khong on the BCNREB board for a two-year term are Vanita Des Mazes as Vice Chair, Kristine Newell as Past Chair, Jason Ryll and Chelsea Kearns as public directors and Leah Mayer, Kristin Houghtaling, Ari Carleton, Sheila Love, Zara Geelen and Tim Johnson as directors.
BCNREB represents over 420 realtors in north and north central B.C. and was founded in 1996.
