Men's fastball opened on May 2 at Lumbermen's Park under clouds and drizzle, with Exeter Sporting Goods and Williams Lake Shuswap both looking for a win.
The game was still scoreless at the bottom of the seventh and final inning, with two out and two strikes on Exeter's Clinton Stenerson, when he got on base with a double. Teammate Brodie Mormon hit a single to right field, bringing Stenerson across the plate and winning the game 1-0.
Games take place nightly at Lumbermen's from Monday through Thursday, with a 6:30 p.m. start time.
