On May 9, the 108 Ladies Golf Club held its first regular Monday night golf session of the season with 26 women competing in their Criers Tournament.
Scoring for the tournament saw par scores substituted for the three worst holes of the nine-hole game.
Before they got started, 108 Golf Resort pro Kevin Hanbury offered a half-hour group lesson to all women's golf club members. It served to take the chill off of an otherwise cool, but rain-free afternoon.
At the end of the tournament, the women sat down to a dinner in the Tatton Room at the resort.
Golf results for the day saw Judy Scarrow, Annie McKave and Cathy Waite finish first to third respectively in the first flight. Scarrow also won the par pot.
Julietta Morete had a productive afternoon, winning first place in the second flight as well as the birdie pot. She was followed by Corinne French and Pam Dutchak in second and third place. Par pot winner was Lori Henderson.
Third flight winners from first to third were Marie Weeden, Debbie Garrow and Nancy Minato. Garrow also won the par pot.
