After giving up two goals – one in the second and the other at the beginning of the second – the Wranglers sent the hometown crowd home happy with a 3-2 come-from-behind overtime victory against the North Okanagan Knights on Jan. 29.
The win launched the Wranglers into first place in the Doug Birks Division of the Kootenay International Junior B Hockey League with 60 points. The Kamloops Storm are in second place with 59 points.
Both teams play tonight (Jan. 30) with the Wranglers at home against the Sicamous Eagles and the Storm taking on Revelstoke Grizzlies.
