The 100 Mile House Wranglers dominated the Chase Heat 6-1 at home on Feb. 20 to clinch first place in the Doug Birks Division of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.
The Wranglers went into Saturday's game needing at least a tie with Chase or a Kamloops loss at the hands the Osoyoos Coyotes the same night.
The Storm lost 7-2 and the Wranglers won the division by three points
On Feb. 19, the Storm and 100 Mile House tied 1-1 in Kamloops.
