The hometown Wranglers had the 654 people in the stands clapping and cheering when they took the Chase Heat 6-1 in the opening game of the Doug Birks Division finals on March 4.
Forward Nick McCabe led the offensive charge with hat trick and an assist – scoring the first and last goals of the game.
All of the boys played well in all facet of the game and the Wranglers got stellar goaltending from Zane Steeves.
100 Mile House took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission and it was 5-1 after the second stanza.
The rock 'em sock 'em action continues tonight (Feb. 5) at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre, with the puck dropping at 7 p.m.
