There's only a few days left and the 100 Mile House Waterpark Society wants to get out the vote.
The local group raising money to build a splash pad in 100 Mile House is currently entered in the Aviva
Community Fund online voting competition, which funds projects of benefit to Canadian communities, for a chance to win $50,000 towards the project.
The competition ends Oct. 23.
Visit www.avivacommunityfund.org to vote.
In four years of fundraising, the group has raised close to $76,000 for the estimated $150,000 splash pad project, which includes a rain deck and colourful showers and ground nozzles and is a big draw for families and children during the hot summer months.
