The District of 100 Mile House is encouraging residents to do their spring pruning and garden cleanup now, as District works staff will be pick up yard debris – branches, dead shrubs, clippings and the usual yard refuse – April 27-May 1.
District staff will be out and about watching for these items to be set out along the boulevard by residents tidying their property, and will pick it up and compost it.
No household garbage, furniture and appliances should be left out for this purpose and these will not be collected as part of this campaign.
The District asks everyone to use this opportunity to help make the municipality more tidy attractive.
