At 12:33 p.m. today (June 27), 100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to a single motor vehicle incident (MVI) involving a motorcycle on Highway 24.
100 Mile House Fire Rescue members assisted Lone Butte Volunteer Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service and the RCMP with the MVI.
A BC Ambulance helicopter was flown in due to the serious nature of the collision, and the motorcycle operator was airlifted to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
The condition of the patient is unknown at this time.
