Legion #260 paying its respects

Local ceremony planned to honour soldiers Nathan Cirillo and Patrice Vincent

Members of the community are invited to a ceremony at the cenotaph outside the 100 Mile House Community Hall organized by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #260 following attacks that claimed the lives of two Canadian soldiers this week.

The ceremony starts at 10 a.m. on Oct. 25.

Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, 53, was killed in a hit-and-run in Quebec on Oct. 20.

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, 24, was shot and killed while on honorary guard at the National War Memorial in Ottawa on Oct. 22.
