Cariboo Regional District Area H Director Margo Wagner received the following report from Interior Roads around 3:45 p.m. today (Nov. 24), stating there will be a major area-wide snowstorm tomorrow night.
"First short term, more snow will move through the area this evening and then taper off overnight north to south.
"Snow then increases tomorrow, mostly in the southwest and then that heavy snow spreads throughout the area tomorrow night. This will be an area-wide event, and is about as perfect of a setup for a snowstorm into the Interior as we get.
"Snow slowly turns over to rain Wednesday as it lifts northwards.
" There will be some warming on Thursday and Friday and then snow develops again Friday night as arctic air moves back into the area."
