Police and firefighters are getting the ball rolling at a fun new event and going head-to-head in the arena for local charity on July 21.
The Guns & Hoses Ball Hockey Game will see 100 Mile House RCMP and 100 Mile House Fire-Rescue members face off at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre at 7 p.m.
The event will help raise funds for the 100 Mile House Water Park Society and the 100 Mile & District Hospice Palliative Care Society. It will see photos with a mountie and fireman by donation, as well as various fund raising draws for gift baskets.
The concession will be open.
