The 100 Mile House Free Press is reviving an enjoyable and historic feature from the past – and about the past – by popular demand.
"We are pleased to bring back our very popular Cariboo Calling feature this summer," says Free Press publisher Martina Dopf.
Under the theme of Children of the Pioneers, the July 21 pull-out supplement will be a great read for locals and visitors alike, she adds.
"We will tell the story about growing up in a pioneer family, saluting the people who really shaped our home."
The return of this "classic" feature that many folks are sure to remember is exciting for all of the staff at the Free Press.
While work is now underway on great stories to be included and related photos are being gathered, folks may submit their suggestions until June 23 under the theme Children of Pioneers by e-mail to newsroom@100milefreepress.net.
