It's do or die time for the 100 Mile House Wranglers.
The local Kootenay International Junior Hockey League team is down three games to none in its Round 2 playoff match up with the Kamloops Storm, last season's Okanagan Shuswap Conference Champions.
The Storm won Game 3, 3-2, in 100 Mile House on March 5. The Wranglers are on the verge of being swept in the second round by the Storm for the second straight season. A repeat of the 2013-14 campaign, the club's inaugural in the KIJHL.
Game 4 is tonight (March 6) at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre. Puck drop is 7 p.m.
Kamloops had a 2-0 lead in Game 3 until Michael Lynch put the Wranglers on the board midway through the second period. Kamloops, however, answered back just over a minute later.
Devan Suidy scored on the power play with 1:29 remaining in the third to pull the Wranglers within one.
Wranglers goalie Kristian Stead won star of the game for the home team.
Suidy, Brett Harris and Jaydon Gilding tallied assists.
