All schools and offices in School District #27 (SD27) are closed today (Jan. 6).
SD27 superintendent Mark Thiessen made the decision to shut down the school district for the day this morning.
"Buses were already not running, but I do not want anyone on the roads if at all possible."
He adds principals will ensure that someone is at each school to receive students and send them home with a parent if they arrive.
