100 Mile boys rock the Moose

Penny Candy for Billionaires performing at free concert June 5

Penny Candy for Billionaires is on their second tour of Western Canada and the band will be stopping in 100 Mile House to play a free show at the Chartreuse Moose on June 5, starting at 4 p.m.

Penny Candy for Billionaires is one of the hottest up-and-coming indie bands out of Vancouver having recently been picked up by Sin Agency and Rednyne Productions.

The band features 100 Mile House natives and Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School graduates Sean Kennedy and Jake Dawson as band members.

Penny Candy for Billionaires wanted to make a point of stopping in the old stomping grounds and providing some free, local-grown entertainment for the community.

The band will be accepting donations and 10 per cent of all proceeds, as well as partial sales of our latest EP, Unit 37, will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
