Get ready for the weekend; it's going to be a hot one.
July 15 features Crusin' the Dub in the A&W parking lot, which is the kickoff of the annual Hot July Nights Car & Bike Show in100 Mile House. Registration starts at 5 p.m., and entertainment starts at 6 p.m.
A poker walk is being organized for Saturday to get folks moving around and visiting some of our businesses.
Saturday also brings all the wheels to Centennial Park, spectators are welcome to come and view the show starting at 3 p.m. There will be performances by Chrome Reverse, and DJ Chris Pettman.
There will be food from one end of the park to the other and, of course, a swap meet.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the classics, the antiques, and the souped up vehicles.
Everyone can enjoy a pancake breakfast for a nominal donation on Sunday at Central GM, starting at 8 a.m. Then the cars and bikes will head off on a cruise through 108 Mile, before packing up and heading home.
