To the editor:
I read with amazement the Show & Shine, which many of us have enjoyed for the past few years, is being moved from Birch Avenue to Centennial Park.
What is it about people that they must fiddle with a perfectly good working plan?
One of the main attractions of the Show and Shine was its accessibility. There was a lot of parking, shade if you needed it, stores close by and the feeling of a street fair.
What was it about this that is unacceptable to the organizers - a beautiful park? Well, OK, but we also have a beautiful main street that no one travelling through sees.
Rethink this please.
