Farm Life Workshop
The Country Pedlar is hosting its annual Farm Life Workshop at ICC from 9 a.m., Saturday, May 3. There will be several information booths; and industry professionals will share their knowledge on: canine first aid, beef production, gardening, equine care and management, fire prevention, feed and more.

Lakeview Cemetery Clean-up

Mountain Spruce Community Centre (MSCC)
MSCC will be holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt from noon to 2 p.m., April 19 in its Park at 6335 Mahood Lake Road. Enjoy hotdogs, cocoa and a warm fire. Hunt for a magic egg and/or win one of many prizes. There is no charge but donations are always welcome.
Note that MSCC’s annual Crib Tournament is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, May 2. It is restricted to those who have played at least five times in the past year.
On May 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Burgers & Brews with Uptown Brewing offers an exciting opportunity for you to sample and learn how to brew cider, coolers, and wine at home. And you get dinner!
Tickets are $44 and include your choice of a beef, chicken, or salmon burger, and a variety of salads. You will also learn about food pairings. You can order a whole kit of your choice, split one with someone else or mix and match; they will be made at Uptown Brewing and will be ready in four to eight weeks. Visa, Mastercard, debit or cash will be accepted for the kits.
