There were a lot of strange characters at the Green Lake Snowmobile Clubhouse on Oct. 28 evening.
There were costumes galore and it was hard to know who was in the costumes. I washed my face so nobody would recognize me, but it didn’t work.
Thirty people attended the event and two more people signed up as Green Lake Snowmobile Club members.
There were outstanding decorations in the Clubhouse during the Halloween Potluck dinner.
Spokesperson Sue Olliffe said event convener Rita Dixon made the large ghosts that were on the wall and supplied all of the decorations that were also on the walls and decorated the tables.
They were amazing, Olliffe added.
“The food was great. We have so many good cooks out here.”
It was nice to see the deceased critters were off the road on the way to 70 Mile House the next day.
Olliffe said Dixon organized a few games that were fun to play.
“It always brings the group together.”
South Green Lake resident Sandy Binning was the winner of the 50/50 draw and took home $170.

Halloween happiness at Eddy’s Bar and Grill
A staff member did a great job of decorating Eddy’s inside and out for Halloween, which was celebrated on Oct. 28.
There was Scaryoke for those who liked to sing, and Eddy showed up to greet the patrons.

Eddy’s good buddy Seth Burwell was dressed like a dragon and everyone loved his costume.
That was especially true for Martin Huber, who was dressed up like Jon Snow, and April Huber, who was dressed up like the Mother of Dragons, both from the Game of Thrones television series.
The three of them had to get a photo together, but Eddy bowed out because there was too much excitement going on.
