It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valerie Christine Bissat on March 22, 2025 at the Williams Lake Seniors Village. She was born on October 4, 1949 in Vancouver BC and was a beloved Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.
Valerie is survived by her Devoted husband Bill, Son Michael (Paula), Daughter Darcie (Doug), Step Children Roger (Rae), Leeya (Dwaine), Mark (Nicole), David (Kathy), Sisters, Angela and Shiela and was predeceased by Her Father Vernon, Mother Gladys and Brother Jimmy. She has 20 Grand Children James (Katie), Nicholas (Jocelyn), Joel, Christopher, Kimberly, Stacy (Tyler), Brittany, Montana (Adam), Stephanie (Dillon), Jessica, Natasha, Shanelle, Bradly (Tianna), Curtis, Noah, Amber, Clayton, Savannah, Maya, Hanna. And 5 Great Grandchildren Tierney, Liam, Schenley, Brinley, Leo.
Valerie will be remembered for her Sense of humour, Kindness, Love for Family, Community Involvement, Career Achievements, Hobbies (Quilting, Knitting, Reading) and Traveling.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 2 pm at Hillside Community Church.
