In loving memory ~

On July 4th, 2024 during the 4th hour, in room 4 the world lost the most special soul but gained the most beautiful angel. (Angel number 444 conveys a powerful message of love, support, and guidance from your angels).

Pavlina Brusova passed away at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home after a long battle with cancer, following complications from COPD and constant reoccurring pneumonias. She peacefully passed alongside her loving partner Wayne. Pavlina fought her cancer battle hard and was actually cleared as cancer free for the past year but after a gruelling surgery to remove the mass, she was faced with never ending complications that unfortunately took her life. Pavlina is survived by her partner of 17 years, Wayne Krueger, her daughter Chelsea Cole and son Cody Cole (Kailley). Pavlina is also survived by her mother Marie Brusova, father Frank Brus, sister Jitka Johannsen (Kim, Kyle and & Erik) and brother Peter Brus. Pavlina had three beautiful grandchildren whom she adored and loved so dearly, Eva Pavlina Hughes, Kinsley Ann Marie Cole and Freya Jillian Cole. Pavlina was born in Novy Jicin, Czechoslovakia. She moved to Canada with her family in 1968 and graduated in New Westminster BC, then moved to the island where she excelled as a real estate agent, working for a family business and finally found home in 100 Mile House after meeting the love her life, Wayne. She worked for 10 years at Remax 100 Mile, where she met so many great friends who became family. Her dedicated work ethic and ability to always help others with grace, patience and professionalism will always be remembered by many. Pavlina loved and adored all her beloved pets. Pavlina and Wayne enjoyed camping and salmon fishing on the South Thompson River, golfing and frequent casino visits which prompted them to purchase a home in Kamloops. With working towards being able to spend winters in their home in Cabo, Mexico. Pavlina unfortunately wasn't able to fulfill this dream due to her diagnosis. After Pavlina was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer and spending months in Kelowna for treatments and procedures, they relocated mostly to Kamloops as their full time residence to be close to hospitals and care facilities.

Pavlina was beautiful, vibrant and passionate. Her energy and smile could lift any room she entered. Often having strangers tell her she had an infectious aura and presence about her. Pavlina became a proud "gwumma" in the summer of 2023 welcoming two grand babies, two weeks apart. With her photo gallery, backgrounds and profile pictures becoming her grandbabies, it was obvious how much life and happiness they brought her. She very often would speak and show anyone that would listen about them. She said they truly quickly became her reason. Pavlina's last three years of her life were spent being lovingly cared for and tended to by her partner, Wayne. Wayne quickly adapted from the role of best friend and soulmate to full time care aid and nurse. We and especially Pavlina will all forever be thankful for Wayne for what he did for her. She will be so deeply missed by all.
