With great admiration for a life well-lived...
Neil James Duncan passed away at the age of 96 at Fischer Place in 100 Mile House, BC. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he graduated as an engineer from the University of Edinburgh. He pursued a diverse career in the coal mining industry, emigrating to Canada in 1968 and living in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary. This culminated in a teaching position at the University of Alberta for 5 years. He was lively, energetic and outgoing. He retired to the Cariboo where he built a home on the 108 Lake and enjoyed many active pursuits. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Jane Duncan, daughters Sheona (Henry) Schulenborg, Fiona Wilker, 6 grandkids (who loved that he served ice cream for breakfast) and 10 great grandkids.
