December 11, 1960 - February 10, 2025
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sister, mother, and aunt Michele Lauzon, at the age of 64.
After a courageous battle with COPD, Michele passed away peacefully February 10, 2025, surrounded by family. She is survived by her three children, Jason (Sherry), Elaine, and Lorne, four brothers, Mike (Crystal), Wayne (Bonnie), and Shawn (Christina), James, Don Lauzon, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Michele was born in Surrey, BC on Dec 11, 1960.
Michele is predeceased by her parents, Merritt Leask, Angelina Leask, stepmom Donna Stewart, sister Marcy Ann, brother Mark, and stepdaughter Taylor.
Our sister was a very giving person who would help anyone in need. Often sacrificing her needs to serve others. She worked for the Ministry of Social Services in multiple communities throughout BC, aiding those in need. She was a great sprit that loved to travel, having driven across Canada multiple times, exploring the backroads and towns as she did, never really driven by timelines.
Michele was always proud of her children, her grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, and brothers. She kept every memento that she was given by all that were close to her.
She always kept a strong front. Even as her illness advanced. Insisting that she was good and always trying her best to ensure others around her were getting the help they needed, even when she required that same help. She will be dearly missed by all of us.
A Celebration of Life will take place 11:00 AM Saturday July 5 at Centennial Park in 100 Mile House.
