Margaret McKinnon passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on February 9th, 2012 at 100 Mile and District General Hospital, at 88 years of age.
Margaret spent the last months of her life’s journey in her daughter’s home before being hospitalized in 100 Mile House, Kamloops, and finally back in 100 Mile House. She continued to be a blessing wherever she went and displayed her gentle, Christ-like spirit for all to receive. During these months she was constantly surrounded by family who loved and enjoyed her immensely.
Very lovingly remembered by her children Virginia (Don), David, Liz, Valerie (Steve), Glen (Dolores) and Neil; and her 15 beloved grandchildren. Mom was proud to show her many pictures of the 14 great grandchildren as well. Her family was most precious to her. She is also remembered with much fondness by her brother-in-law, Max, and sister-in law, Dorothy; nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends, as well as her Lambrick Park Church family in Victoria, B.C.
Graveside Service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, Victoria, B.C. Followed at 1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Margaret’s Life at Lambrick Park Church, 1780 Feltham Road, Victoria, B.C.
