In Loving Memory

Lawrence (Larry) was born on May 15th, 1947 at Canim Lake, B.C. He passed away on February 7th, 2011 at the 100 Mile Hospital with his children, family and friends at his bedside. Larry was predeceased by his parents Edward F. Dixon Sr. and his mother May Josephine (Johnson), his brothers Clarence Dixon and Frankie Johnson, his sister Pauline Dixon. He leaves behind his sons Lawrence (Billy), Trevor and his daughters Tina Roxanne and Lorelei Alice, his grandchildren: Jacob, Brittney, Teddy, Tara and Charlie; great grandchildren: Ciara Andy.; his brothers Johnny Johnson (Marge), Marty Dixon (Alana), Edward Dixon Jr. (Jackie), Don Dixon (Lyndsey), Moffat Dixon (Corrine) and his sisters Elizabeth Pete, Maryann Archie (Laird) and Marcella McGrath (Dan) and families will remember Larry’s love, friendship contributions to families, friends and the communities. His contributions to helping elders, friends and community will not be forgotten. In his professional life, Larry learned and worked in Hunting and Guide Outfitters, agriculture, cultural advisor, Noranda Mines, MOTH contracts, firefighting, and was the chief for a term. Service provided by Sr. Mariann Reid for Lawrence W. Dixon Sr. on February 12th, 2011 at the Canim Lake Gym.

Special thanks to the nursing staff and the doctors of the 100 Mile Hospital and the Royal Inland Hospital for their care of our brother Lawrence W. Dixon Sr. in his final days.
