Sept. 27, 1931 - Mar. 21, 2013
With sadness, we announce the passing of Jim McDonnell in 100 Mile House Hospital. Jim was born in Cape Breton, N.S. and moved to B.C. in 1946 with his family.
He was a hard worker and owned and operated Jim’s Towing for 18 years. He sold the business to Antle Towing and retired in 1997.
Jim was predeceased by his parents and brother Gordon. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary. Also survived by his sister Anna, brothers: John, Don, Patrick and Rod, and their wives and families. He is survived also by five special stepchildren and their families.
Jim loved the Cariboo and was a long-time resident of nearly 40 years.
Thank you to Dr. Lubbe, Gayle and all the staff in 100 Mile House Hospital who helped Jim to go peacefully.
Thanks also to all those who have called to offer help and support.
Jim’s wishes were to be cremated with no service. He would rather be remembered with a smile.
Rest in peace dear, you have earned it.
Love Mary
