Gillian Frances (nee King) Pledge

It is with great sadness that the family of Gillian Frances Pledge (nee King) must announce that she has gone to be with her Lord on April 27, 2023.
She was born in Kamloops on May 3,1947 to Ernest and Olive King. Raised in Bridge Lake, B.C. with her 6 siblings, Joan (dec.), Pauline, Patricia, Michael, her twin (dec.), Susan and Robert.
She married her beloved John on June 28, 1997 and settled in 100 Mile House, B.C. They spent their free time camping at all their favourite spots and showing cows with Jack and Polly.
She retired after a four decades long career as a nurse where she positively impacted so many lives with her passion for her patients' health, dignity and care.
John and the family are extremely grateful to the doctors and incredible nurses at the 100 Mile District Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held on June 10,2023 at the Evangelical Free Church in 100 Mile House, B.C. at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the South Cariboo Health Foundation.
