Passed away peacefully Sunday, February 6, at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. Doug was born in Burnaby, BC., son of Bill and Agnes Richardson. He served Canada in the 2nd World War. Doug lived and worked in the Lower Mainland until his retirement to Vancouver Island in 1972. Doug had lived in 100 Mile House the last 3 years; the last 3 months in Fischer Place. He was pre-deceased in 1996 by his wife Muriel. He will sadly missed by daughter Beverly and son-in-law Tom Lund of 100 Mile House, son Gary and wife Irene Richardson of Surrey, BC. Doug leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren behind. We were so blessed to have such a loving father, a wise mentor, a fantastic role model and the best fishing buddy. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doug’s name to the Alzheimer Society of BC.
