Brian Richard Gardner

August 6, 1947 - April 7, 2022

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, dad and grandpa Brian Richard Gardner. (August 6, 1947 - April 7, 2022)
Brian was predeceased by his wife Donna and son Keith. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Lorna, daughter Larraine (Steve, Makenna, Kaleb), son Michael (Jane, Lachlan), sister Marjorie and brother Donald as well as a large extended family.
Brian grew up in North Vancouver and moved to 100 Mile House where he began his career building log homes and eventually owning his own company - Original Log Homes. He was a true pioneer in the industry and many builders learned so much from him.
He was volunteer fireman, president of the 100 Mile Snowmobile club and an amateur meteorologist for close to 50 years; tracking daily temperatures and precipitation to send into Environment Canada.
He was one of a kind - loved his family and always made sure we all knew it. He truly enjoyed all of his "toys" over the years. From cars, boats, motorbikes, snowmobiles, and ATV's to flying model planes and a drone. He was an extremely talented model builder and would always modify any kits he worked on. His recent passion was his "RC Crawler". He would walk for hours "driving" it everywhere and enjoying his property.
He will be missed soooo much.
