Bonnie Jean Adams

BONNIE JEAN ADAMS (nee Vannetta) age 76, of Lone Butte, British Columbia died June 24, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Cecil Vannetta and Norma Gertrude Vannetta (Bailey).
She is survived by her loving husband, William (Bill) Adams; her sons Jamie Adams (Sylvia Crouse) and Jason Adams; her sister Lynn Sheridan (Rob); her brother Alec Vannetta (Hannelore); grandchildren Connor Shay Lindenbach (Rebecca), Aeron Jason Adams, and Erika Christine Adams; and her great-grandchildren Alexander & Vivian Lindenbach and Gabriel Adams. Bonnie loved living in the Cariboo (49 years) where she worked at Safeway for 20 years. She enjoyed raising her sons, snowmobile racing, hiking, RV Camping, travelling, and canning fruits, vegetables, jams, pickles, salsas, and relishes. Bonnie was a lifelong learner who had made lifelong friends. In recent years she was an avid quilter and enjoyed weekly walks with her girlfriends.
Bonnie grew up in North Burnaby, B.C. She attended Burnaby North Secondary School where she met her husband. They were married on May 25, 1968, and celebrated their 55th Anniversary in May of this year.
Bonnie fought cancer for 2.5 years and family was in town to support each other when she passed.
The family would like to thank Dr. Montgomery, the nurses, caregivers, and support staff who cared for Bonnie at 100 Mile Hospital through her cancer journey and her good friend Gwen Mitchel.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Cancer Society or the 100 Mile House Hospital. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at a future date and time.
