There are currently two active wildfires burning in the 100 Mile fire zone. Both are ranked as being held Wednesday afternoon (July 5).

A small 1.2-hectare fire located 2.1 kilometres south of Enterprise Lake was discovered late Tuesday afternoon. BC Wildfire Services (BCWS) actioned the fire from the ground and the air. Lightning is the suspected cause.

Early this morning a second fire was discovered southeast of Roundup Lake. BCWS crews are onsite and the 0.1-hectare blaze is now listed as being held. The cause is believed to be natural.
